I am so happy that I had an opportunity to have Deb coach me in my 3rd fitness competition. I had been off the stage for 2 years and was itching to get back. Little did I know how hard it was going to be noting that I have been in ‘off-season’ shape way too long. Deb was so helpful and so positive through out the whole time. There moments where I was frustrated and wanted to quit. But Deb was supported of whatever decision that I was going to make. When I said that I was not going to give up, that was when she made sure that I made it all the way. Even when the weight wasn’t dropping as fast as I wanted it to, she made adjustments to my diet and then the weight was dropping!!! I was amazed!!! Deb knew exactly what she was doing!

In short, I am so glad that I hired her because I came in 2nd place in the Master’s division and that was the best I have ever placed!!! Thank you Deb for EVERYTHING!!!

What’s the best way to describe Deb Denio? Probably, I’d suggest imagining your favorite high school sports movie where the coach is wise and smart and supportive and experienced. As a trainer, she will push you to work hard and see results. (I honestly don’t recognize myself in the mirror.) And as a physical therapist, she will push herself hard to make your body hurt less and work better. (I wouldn’t have a right knee if it weren’t for her.)

She’s part mom, part medical expert, part cheerleader and part task master. Altogether, she really is the perfect coach and I don’t know what I’d do without her.

Thanks to you not only does my body feel great again! But, I have achieved a goal I never thought possible. When I first met you I was 25 lbs. heavier with neck and shoulder pain that had driven me to give up tennis and exercise in general. Since we starting working together I have lost weight, changed my diet and body and grown so much stronger that I can’t believe I’m the same person I was a year ago. Those were my measurements after the first two weeks, but I believe before the cleanse:

Weight: 160-162, Waist: 34-35, Bust: 36, Hip: 42-43, Thigh: 30

My thighs were HUGE!!! That’s where I noticed the biggest change! I could barely get a size 10pants over them and my butt!

December 22nd: I’m starting to see definition in my abs, mainly after my abs class! 😉 I want to get rid of that last lil bulge in my lower abs! Latest measurements: 

Chest: 34.5 inches
Waist: 29.75 inches 
Hips: 37.5 inches 
Thighs: 21.25 inches

Deborah Denio is amazing! She has assisted me with physical therapy on my shoulder when I dislocated it skiing and completely got me back to speed without any surgery which was discussed by my doctor at some point. Also, about 20 years ago I had knee surgery and after doing so much skiing the last few years and taking up jogging again; I was having some problems and she was able to work on it and give me exercises and stretches that cured my problem! She is fantastic, has a magic touch and she has been able to help me immensely!

Deborah is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, professional motivating trainer. I have always considered myself an athletic, fit person, although in the last year, I put on significant weight (20lbs). I tried stepping up my workouts, cutting back on sweets but they were unsuccessful.

My co-workers and I even started a weight loss challenge, where we had a weigh in every week…those who gained put $2, those who remained the same put in a $1 and those who lost, did not have to contribute. At that time, I initiated the P90x workout followed by the Insanity workout…I lost five pounds. Far cry from the 20lbs I put on! Not to mention the hole it was putting in my wallet every week for losing at the weight loss challenge! As I was considering going on a fast, my friend, Deb, asked if I would be interested in her program. I’m so happy I did! I’ve lost 22lbs in three months!! I’m ecstatic! I’m 34yrs old and 140lbs at 5’6″, my waist is 29 inches. My size 6 jeans fit with ease! I’ve never felt better! I refuse to believe the age old adage, “you’re getting older, you’re metabolism is slowing down, its natural to put on weight.” FALSE! Deb’s program you have the freedom to create variety in your workouts so that you don’t get bored! I have complete faith that she will help me achieve my goal weight of 135! Dear Dr. Denio,

I felt cleansed and good from your diet, especially to be off sugar. Now I will follow a low fat and balanced diet for maintenance. My workout schedule changed drastically and I gained 2-3 more reps once I started taking the correct supplements you provided. I lost 11 pounds within your 8-week program, which is very surprising to me. It is most encouraging to lose and visually see the difference right away, which kept me encouraged. I did not cheat even once for the 8 weeks. My wife loves my new set of six packs from your wonderful diet.

When Deborah told me about her diet, I was skeptical. I used to be really skinny with a fast metabolism but with age I put on weight and gained fat in places that used to be effortlessly thin. I’m used to eating a lot of fast food, fried foods, hardly any vegetables or fruit. I LOVE sugar and sweets and thought there is no way I can do this. But, my bulge in my tummy was not going away so I said, “What the heck?”. At first I was having nightmares about all the sweets I wasn’t eating but as the weeks flew by I started to feel better, more energy and I was in a lot better shape! Going to the gym got easier and I was happy seeing the results. This diet was easy to follow, even for someone like me who hardly eats things that are good for you. Dear Deborah,

I recently moved into my new house and was so busy with decorating, planting, and painting, that I did not have time, nor the energy, to keep up my exercise regime. After having my housewarming party, I realized that I was the heaviest woman at the party. I was discouraged to find out that my weight had surged to an unbelievable 157 pounds at 5′ 6″.

That was near my heaviest weight ever. I did not know how to change this downward spiral and asked for your help.

The key to Deborah’s regimen boiled down to two things: the time of day I exercised and the types of food I ate. I began working out in the mornings before I ate, instead of at the end of the day after work. I found that I had more energy and would burn more calories. I also ate a diet of high protein and low carbs, which was difficult at first. However, I still ate healthy carbs such as whole grain oatmeal and yogurt. After 12 weeks, I lost 12 pounds and two sizes in clothes. I was toned and in the best shape of my life. I had not worn size 8 clothes since junior high. Thanks, Deb!

How do I even begin to thank you for all that you have done to help me reach my goals? Having you as my trainer has truly been a life changing experience. You not only put 200% of yourself into helping me achieve my fitness objectives but you were also a great friend and mentor along the way.
